Profile 496
Profile 496 is the Santoprene version of Profile 495. Santoprene gaskets last longer than our standard PVC gaskets. Compared to PVC gasket material, it is more durable and is rated to a higher temperature. While PVC gaskets are typically meant for refrigerators and freezers, santoprene can withstand the heat from a warming cabinet. Some other benefits of santoprene is that it stays harder longer and has less tendencies to rot.
